These
hours were established to provide the utmost convenience for our
patient's needs. As a courtesy to our patients we confirm all
appointments in advance. If we are unable to reach you by phone,
we ask that you call the office to confirm your appointment time.
Except for emergency situations, you may expect to be seen on
time. In return, we ask that you extend us the same courtesy.
In the event that it is necessary for your to change an appointment,
we require 48 hours advance notice. This will allow time for another
patient in need of care to be seen.
Your
Appointment
You will receive a referral
from your dentist. Exam appointments are available to every patient.
However, unless you have special needs, are medically compromised,
require a difficult or different type of procedure, or would like
to meet us, exam appointments are not required.
Most of our patients receive
an intravenous anesthetic ("go to sleep") for their
procedure. Unless you know your procedure is going to be "simple",
you will need to prepare for this anesthetic. The requirements
are, nothing
to eat or drink for eight hours, including water and someone to
drive you home. If
you take routine medication or require pre-medication, please
let us know. You will need x-rays that are less than one year old. If you do not have one, we will be happy to take
one in our office.
Emergencies
Emergencies can occur
at any time. Our 24 hour answering service can alert the doctor-on-call
of your need. With early morning, lunchtime and late afternoon
appointments you can be seen at a time that is convenient for
your busy schedule.
