Our Services
Patient
Safety
To protect
our patients and ourselves, our staff wears masks, gloves, glasses,
as well as disposable gowns. We strictly adhere to all Occupational
Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines. All instruments
are cleaned, disinfected and sterilized as recommended by the
American Dental Association and the Centers for Disease control.
Whenever possible, disposable single use items are used to ensure
your safety. Handpieces (drills) are sterilized with a state-of-the-art
sterilization unit specifically designed for this purpose. All
surfaces in the treatment rooms are cleaned and disinfected after
each patient.
Radiographs
(X-rays)
A panorex
x-ray allows us to see a complete picture of the alignment of
your jaw, the positioning of your teeth and if there is sufficient
space for your third molars (wisdom teeth) to fully erupt. In
addition, it is an excellent diagnositic tool for evaluation of
the supporting bone for possible cysts or tumors. In some cases
a single periapical x-ray (small film) or occlusal x-ray may be
required.

Tooth
Removal
Individual
tooth extraction may be necessary for various reasons. Severe
tooth decay involving the nerve and tooth structure, Periodontal
disease, Orthodontic treatment, accident or injury, all may be
causes for single or multiple tooth removal. Click here for further information regarding
single or multiple tooth removal.
Impacted
Teeth/Wisdom Teeth
All teeth
are formed within the jawbones. As the root develops most teeth
travel toward their future place in the dental arch. This movement
is called eruption. If a tooth travels in the wrong direction,
or is blocked by another tooth or dense bone, it is said to be
impacted. click here for further information.
